Since the original Galaxy S, the physical home button has been a staple of Samsung’s flagship Android smartphones, a key part of the company’s mobile design language, and a tactile feature prefered by many.
The Home key is commonly found on desktop and laptop keyboards. The key has the opposite effect of the End key. In limited-size keyboards where the Home key is missing the same functionality can be reached via the key combination of Fn + ← .
The Home button is located in the centre of the bottom edge of your device. Press it to wake up the screen when the screen has gone dark. When the screen is awake press it to return to the Home screen.
From Android, select Restrictions and click on Configure. Under Allow Device Functionality, you’ll have the options to disable Home/Power button. Home Button-Uncheck this option to restrict users from using the Home Button.
Swipe the screen to the left to get to the All tab. Scroll down until you locate the currently running home screen. Scroll down until you see the Clear Defaults button (Figure A). Tap Clear Defaults.
