What is POG?

POG meaning in Military terminology / glossary / dictionary is:
Pronounced “pogue.” Usually referred to someone that is a “shammer,” or someone that is no good. Varies in usage. Originally used mainly by infantry personnel, referred to ‘people other than grunts.’ Usage moved throughout the Army, now generally refers to anyone that is a poor excuse for a soldier.
