What is Byelaw ?

Byelaw is , by-law (noun) 1. a rule or law made by a local authority or public body but not by central government A local byelaw says that this path is a public right of way. Byelaws must be made by bodies which have been authorised by Parliament. 2. one of a set of rules for running a club According to the byelaws, the president is elected for three years only.
