What is Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP)?

Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) meaning An indirect measure of the rate at which petroleum liquids evaporate. Its the absolute vapor pressure of a crude oil, or of single or mixed liquid petroleum products, as measured by the Reid Method (ASTM Method D 323).
