What is Dynasty ?

Dynasty is (noun) 1. a family of rulers, following one after the other The Ming dynasty ruled China from 1368 to 1644. Henry VII founded the Tudor dynasty in 1487. 2. a period of rule by members of the same family The Great Wall of China was built during the Tsin dynasty. (NOTE: The plural is dynasties.)
